I really hope that through the concerted efforts of people who are touched by my cause, I will someday reach my dream of singing for the great Mr. Pacquiao...and ultimately earn my father's attention and recognition. GORGORO’s open letter to Mr. Manny Paquiao

Dear Mr. Paquiao

Congratulations for being the first Asian to win four weight titles. Talagang napahanga mo na naman ang mga Pilipino.

Hindi mo naitatanong Mr. Paquiao, ako po ay isang Fil-Am. My dad is a very famous musician from America. His name is Animal. Nung 1982, pumunta siya dito sa Pilipinas for his band’s concert tour. Nakilala niya ang isang babae from Olangapo na kanya pong nabuntis. At ang babaeng ito ay ang aking ina. Up to this day, I haven’t seen my dad. I don't know if he knows me or if he was even informed that I exist.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you a favor. Medyo kakapalan ko na ang mukha ko Mr. Paquiao. On your next fight Mr. Paquiao, I’m presenting myself to sing Lupang Hinirang, our national anthem. Medyo mapangarap ang hinihiling ko, pero I’m so desperate to meet my dad. I know that to be in that ring and in front of a live worldwide audience – sobrang napakalaki ng chance na mapanood ako ng aking ama.

Hindi ko ginagawa ito Mr. Paquiao upang sumikat or makakuha ng record deal. I’m doing this to hopefully see him, finally.

was reading the Entertainment page, hoping to find news about my dad. But look what I found instead! It's my bass player (Jeng Tan). Her other band is on the cover of Pulp magazine. Good job Jeng,truly splendid!! :-)
