Since my dad is a very famous drummer,I feel that it's an obligation to study and play decent drums. So I decided to buy a drumset.

Thank you very much Perfect Pitch! (Sponsoran niyo naman ako hehehe, kahit isang telecaster lang )

Our "Ed Sullivan" moment (our 1st live TV performance)

Waking up early is really hard to do, but waking up early to perform on a respected morning show is a different story.

Since day one of my "videoblogging actions", performing live on TV is just a wishful thinking.....but now it's true! If the Beatles had their "Ed Sullivan show",We have our "Unang Hirit" (a Top-rating Morning Show in the Philippines).

We performed my original compositions: "You had your chance but you blew it" and "Jackpot" (where Unang Hirit's resident puppet Arn-Arn jams with me).

Unfortunatelly, our bassist Jeng Tan was not able to join us (due to conflicting schedules) but my good friend Mark Tamayo was there to lend a hand (actually hands).

It's really a memorable experience for us. I hope this TV appearance will eventually lead me to my dad.

Splendid! =D

Our first live TV performance, this Thurs!! (feb.19,2009)

One ordinary day, I received a phone call from GMA 7's Morning Show, Unang Hirit. Unang Hirit?!? Is this for real?!?

Unang Hirit wants us to perform Live! This is a milestone! Our band's first live performance on National TV! Just like the Beatles, this is our "The Ed Sullivan Show" experience.

Surreal, indeed.

First, "Jojo A's Goodnight Show". Second, "Kapuso mo, Jessica Soho." Third, "BrewRats Show (99.5 RT)." and now Unang Hirit! Yahoo!!

Am really excited. Hopefully, my dad would be able to watch this....

Splendid!

Yehey! I’m part of the Eheads reunion DVD

I just got a copy of the Eraserheads Reunion DVD. Im really happy and excited to relive this historical event. Ah! I could watch the E-Heads Reunion over and over again. As I was watching the concert, I was shocked to see myself and my bassist Jeng in the crowd. They caught us cheering for our idols! Its also very ironic that we caught ourselves in the tidididi part of With A Smile, for Jeng is part of the original tidididi girls of the original version of the song (look for Circus album inlay for details).

Im very very happy to be part of this momentous event. May my short appearance in this DVD be helpful in my quest of being with my Dad, Animal.

Splendid.

Our First "formal" Music Video shoot

We just finished shooting our first "formal" music video. It was directed by Gorio Vicuna of Goriotik ward studios, MYX Awards awardee for his work--Spongecola's "Bitiw" video.

The multi-awarded director, Raymond Red ( winner of 2000 Cannes Film Festival Palme D'Or for his work 'ANINO") dropped-by in the set while we were shooting our music video. He shared with me some pointers on how to make an amazing work.

It was tiring but we really had fun. Our team is really excited for the world to see our masterpiece. :-)

May this video be instrumental for me to be united with my Dad. I'm sure my Daddy will be proud of me.
Splendid! :-)
