Gorgoro review by Manilalounge.com
Gorgoro is a band like no other. A puppet! A puppet for a vocalist! And a pink one with a thick unibrow at that! Gregorio “Gorgoro” Henson, the ultimate “renaissance puppet”, is also the chief songwriter of this Britpop-inspired band. But wait, there’s more! According to their Facebook page, “No doubt, Gorgoro is a puppet on a mission -- to finally find and meet his biological father, Animal of the Muppet Show’s sensational band Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem. Gorgoro is hell-bent on finding his spot in the limelight in order to (somehow, somewhere) get recognition from his estranged father”. Melt my heart, why don’t you? Their song “You Had Your Chance But You Blew It” became my LSS for 2 days. That’s how infectious their songs are. Gorgoro: fun, easy on the ears, and a puppet as front man.

Elmo sing with Katy Perry
http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/a-line/sesame-street-pulls-controversial-katy-perry-duet/624
hmmm Elmo sings with Katy Perry. I wonder who will be the first local human artist I'll be singing with on live television? Ely Buendia, Rico Blanco, Rico Puno....
I think NU rock awards 2010 is the best venue for this. Sorry, just day dreaming. :-)
I saw my Dad Animal on TV!! :-(
At least I know that my dad is in good shape. Hope he discovers about his bastard here in the Philippines.
Well, Congratulation Mr. Fator! Splendid!

GORGORO's FHM appearance
FHM PHILIPPINES (July 2010 issue)
GORGORO
"Gorgoro is fronted by puppet Gorgoro "Gregorio" Henson, who claims to
be the bastard son of the famous Muppet animal. Together with human
friends from other bands, he has managed to approximate the sound of
90's brit-rock, combined with a lyrical style that is more Ely Buendia
than Sesame Street"
